Ringing in the New Year

2017 Football RingsThe 2017-18 GMS Championship Football team received custom rings from Coach Cody Coomes and Coach Troy Bigsbee. Before the winter break dismissal, boys were called to Coach Bigsbee's classroom for the big surprise. "I heard they spent over $1000 for us" said 7th grader Jackson Jones, "my ring looks awesome." The team could be heard celebrating their new rings, each other and their big win for the season. "The coaches really care about our students," said Ms. Keeter, 7th Math and Science Teacher, "what is really impressive besides this amazing gift to our students is the care extends to all facets of the players including putting academics first."
